Ann is one of the original sports talk show hosts on WFAN 660 AM, 101.9 FM, and wfan.com, the first radio station to go to an all-sports format in 1987. Ann hosted a weekly call-in show from 1987 to 2008 and developed a loyal fan base who called her each week and talked about all sports and listened to her in-depth interviews with legends. Her fans remember her show “Hey Liguori, What’s the Story,’ and enjoyed listening to Ann’s expertise and opinions. Ann interviews Seth Waugh, CEO of the PGA of America, and he tells her that if COVID-19 prevents the PGA Championship from happening in San Francisco, August 3-9, (with or without spectators), it will not be rescheduled.
When they talked about the possibility of hosting a Ryder Cup in September at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, without fans, he said ‘It’s hard to imagine a Ryder Cup without fans; We’ve started talking about whether you could create some virtual fan experience… We’ll be very careful about that (decision).’
